Dr. Michael Kelley, Physician Assistant

Michael Kelley is a retired United States Navy veteran with 22 years of distinguished military service as a Hospital Corpsman and Physician Assistant. During his military career, he completed six overseas combat deployments, gaining extensive experience in emergency medicine, trauma care, and operational healthcare in demanding environments.
While serving in the Navy, Michael earned his Physician Assistant degree and went on to complete master’s-level training in Sports Medicine and Internal Medicine. He further advanced his expertise through fellowships in Orthopedic Surgery and Trauma Surgery at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. His advanced training provided a strong foundation in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and orthopedic conditions.
Following his retirement from military service in 2008, Michael relocated to Phoenix with his wife and four children to continue his medical career serving patients throughout Arizona.
Michael specializes in sports medicine and comprehensive orthopedic evaluation and treatment, with a focus on non-surgical management of musculoskeletal conditions. His clinical expertise includes joint injections, Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and image-guided procedures. He is also trained in lumbar epidural, sacroiliac (SI) joint, and caudal injections, utilizing ultrasound guidance to enhance procedural accuracy and patient outcomes.
Drawing on decades of military and civilian medical experience, Michael is committed to helping patients reduce pain, restore function, and return to the activities they enjoy through evidence-based, patient-centered care.
