Dr. Brant Kirk is originally from Klamath Falls, Oregon, where he earned his undergraduate degree from Oregon Tech. He completed medical school at Oregon Health & Science University and then trained as a General Surgeon in Phoenix, Arizona. During his free time, Dr. Kirk enjoys hiking and traveling with his wife and children. Dr. Kirk strives to provide medical care that improves both physical and mental well being.
Charles has a passion for showing grace where it is not often shown and stewarding his gifts in a way that positively impacts those around him. He received his training to be a Family Nurse Practitioner from Grand Canyon University after five-years of experience as a registered nurse in the valley. Native of Chicago, Illinois, Charles has a wide array of experience working in different modalities of medicine ranging from telemetry, emergency room, observation, ortho-trauma, med-surg, and behavioral health. He uses his experiences in hospital leadership to create quality metrics, workflows, and systems that ensure positive patient outcomes.
De La Riva is a devoted Christian, family-man, and athlete outside of work. He enjoys spending time with his son and creating an environment that his son can thrive in with the help of the amazing mom of the household. The De La Riva family often hikes, mountain bikes, travels, and serves their community. Charles is looking forward to the completion of his doctoral studies.

Kendra is a board-certified Physical Therapist, originally from Newton, Kansas. She graduated from Bethel College with her Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training in 2016 and earned her certificate in Athletic Training. Kendra then attended the University of Saint Mary’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program in Leavenworth Kansas, graduating in 2019 and earning her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Shortly after graduating from Physical Therapy school, Kendra moved to Phoenix, Arizona and worked at an outpatient clinic for 2 years earning experience and getting certified in Functional Dry Needling along the way.
Kendra enjoys being active and likes to take advantage of the perfect Arizona weather in the winter to hike and go on long walks with her dog, Bandit. She also enjoys kickboxing and cycling to stay active in-doors. On the weekend, you can find Kendra enjoying the company of her friends, food, and a drink at one of Phoenix’s many outdoor patio restaurants. Kendra also enjoys cooking and watching TV in her free time (she’s a sucker for bad reality TV shows).
Kendra has a passion for treating her patients with respect and create a welcoming and comforting environment while providing excellent care and rehabilitation. She believes in choosing treatments based on evidence-based practice that address patient specific needs and goals. Dr Tahir is originally from Allentown, PA.
He completed his general surgery training at the University of Kansas Medical center in Kansas City and is fellowship trained in Vascular Surgery at the Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL
Dr Tahir’s clinical interest is in the treatment of complex peripheral arterial disease, aneurysmal disease, and non-healing lower extremity wounds.
He is board certified and strives to provide comprehensive care for vascular patients, with a focus on providing patients with both surgical and non-surgical options.
Dr. Nye is native to the Phoenix area and completed his undergraduate degree at Arizona State University. He then earned his medical degree from Midwestern University. Dr. Nye is board-certified in both general surgery and vascular surgery, having accomplished his General Surgery Residency in Massachusetts, and a Vascular Surgery Fellowship in Buffalo, New York. He speaks fluent Spanish after spending two years as a missionary in Bolivia. He comes to us after spending two years consulting as a vascular surgeon in central California.
Dr. Nye is admired for his compassion, and returns to the valley providing superlative medical care to people of all backgrounds.
He is married to his best friend and has four young children. Dr. Nye is a sports enthusiast and former Arizona high school championship football player. He now likes to swim, wakeboard, snowboard, hike, and work out. Most of all, though, he enjoys spending time and traveling with his family.
Dr. Pickle is a board certified Physical Therapist originally from central Maine, with over 20 years of experience. He graduated from Husson University with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy in 2001, and returned to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2012. He was the first therapist to begin dry needling treatments in the state of Maine.
Dr Pickle operated his own Physical Therapy Company in Maine for thirteen years with 8 locations, while also providing workplace ergonomics and early symptom intervention care for a major footwear company at their manufacturing facilities across the state of Maine. He moved to Arizona in 2017 to enjoy a milder climate and to enjoy everything the wild west has to offer.
James is an avid hiker, and is frequently seen in the McDowell Mountain range or other hiking destinations across Arizona, or driving and camping in a 1966 vintage Land Rover with his lovely wife and son.
James has a passion for diagnosing patient issues which are complex, and has eluded other clinicians. His goals of educating his patients about their conditions, in simple language, as well as tailoring their treatment to ensure they succeed is what creates an environment that is different from others. He is excited to team up with Laser Vascular Center to assist patients in reclaiming their independence, leisure activities, work performance and athletic goals so they can enjoy their lives to the fullest.
Ashley Jensen, DPM, is a board certified foot and ankle specialist with advanced training in wound care, limb savage, reconstructive, elective and trauma surgery.
Dr. Jensen began her education at St. Catherine University, in St. Paul, Minnesota where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She then continued her studies at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, Ohio, where she earned her doctor of podiatric medicine degree. Dr. Jensen received her foot and ankle surgical training locally at Valley Wise Medical Center where she serves as chief resident.
Despite her hectic schedules in undergraduate and podiatry school, Dr. Jensen was also active in numerous professional societies including the American Association of Women Podiatrists, the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Kappa Tau Epsilon, Podiatric Association of Diabetes, and the American Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Jensen strongly believes that every patient should be treated like family. Each patient deserves the best overall care and it is important that they understand and be included in their medical care. If you know Dr. Jensen, you will see that she does the right thing for each patient every time.
Outside of work, Dr. Jensen enjoys hiking, baking, running, traveling and spending time with her husband Craig and dog Tobie.
Brooke is a certified nurse practitioner from Champaign-Urbana, IL. Brooke has a passion for cardiovascular services. Her experience comes from an excellent cardiac catheterization lab, specializing in interventional cardiology and structural heart. Her love for procedural patient care helped drive new structural heart programs and provide exceptional patient care in procedural cardiovascular services. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from Lakeview College of Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing Degree- Family Nurse Practitioner Track from Chamberlain College of Nursing.
Brooke is an avid Chicago Cubs and Chicago Blackhawks fan. She enjoys spending her free time with friends and family, as well as her three dogs, Colt, Maggie, and Beans. Brooke enjoys the outdoors. Her favorite outdoor activity is kayaking.
Brooke is devoted to providing exceptional patient outcomes while ensuring the comfort of her patients. She drives to put patients at ease while addressing their vascular needs.
Kimberly Hart grew up in Indiana enjoying the midwest’s change of seasons and basketball. She graduated high school and college from the same auditorium at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, with her Bachelor’s degree in the science of nursing. She worked as a RN primarily in the Coronary Care Unit and Cardiac Catheterization Lab prior to obtaining her Nurse Practitioner national certification. Her master’s in the science of nursing and family nurse practitioner was earned through the University of Phoenix, in Phoenix, Arizona. She also obtained her Registered Nurse First Assist, RNFA, through the NIFA program and the College of Southern Nevada, in Las Vegas.
Kimberly’s nurse practitioner experience has been in vascular surgery for the last 15 years. She has obtained multiple certifications in the areas of vein ablations, sclerotherapy and laser treatments. She is an active member in the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Kimberly’s professional philosophy will always be to offer quality, compassionate care aimed toward each patient’s vascular needs. She stresses the importance of patient education and understanding of their disease processes.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family in Arizona and Indiana, watching Colts and Cardinals football, and visiting wineries.
Jason is a Physician Assistant originally from Chicago, Illinois. At the age of 22 he left Illinois to join the United States Marine Corps. From there, he had the opportunity to travel the world, which included one tour of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan. It was in this setting that he decided he wanted to pursue a future in medicine.
After being discharged from the Marines, Jason went on to graduate from Grand Canyon University with a degree in Athletic Training, with which he was able to work at many different levels including college and professional athletics. He also has certifications in strength and conditioning through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, as well as certifications in nutrition.
In 2018, Jason started Physician Assistant school in Los Angeles at Southern California University of Health Sciences, for which he graduated and earned his degree in January of 2021.
Jason is a father of four kids and is engaged to be married in the fall of 2022. He is an avid outdoors person who loves to get out and exercise and play sports with his kids. His favorite activities are usually with his kids when they get outside and play football, baseball or go hiking. He also loves to get out in the desert and hike the limitless trails in the Arizona area with his family. Jason’s favorite hobbies include running, mountain biking, going to the gym and most of all, playing golf.
Since deciding to start his journey into medicine while in Iraq, Jason’s biggest goal has been to get to a place where he is able to help people and become one of the best in his field. He wants to have a tremendous impact on his patients and their overall health and their lives, so that they may be able to live their best, and happiest days, every day.

Jordan Schenk was born and raised in Idaho Falls, ID. He served a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Tucson, AZ. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science from Idaho State University. After finishing his undergraduate degree, Jordan attended Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tn and obtained a Master’s Degree as a Physician Assistant.
Jordan loves spending time with his wife and daughter. They enjoy being outdoors hiking, swimming and exploring. Jordan enjoys bushcrafting, woodworking, and knife making in his free time.
Joy is a compassionate, knowledgeable, and highly trained Nurse Practitioner, possessing over 16 years of experience in the areas of pediatrics, women’s health, wound care, internal medicine, family medicine, cardiology, surgical intensive care, and long-term care. Her educational background includes an associate degree in nursing from Schoolcraft College in Livonia, Michigan and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from South University in Novi, Michigan. She went on to further her education obtaining a master of science in Nursing with specialty as a Nurse Practitioner.
Joy joins Laser Vascular Center with her rich experience and background. She is passionate about giving her patient’s adequate time during visits to ask and answer questions, providing education and devising personalized health plans.
Outside of work, she enjoy her two grown children, two affectionate pitbulls, acrylic painting, and traveling to UK to see family.
Dr. J Gregory Roberts, from Kentucky, completed both undergraduate and medical education in Lexington and Louisville, KY, respectively. His medical education further advanced with a General Surgery residency in Syracuse, New York, then a Vascular/Endovascular surgical fellowship and Vascular ultrasound certification in Houston, TX at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Roberts offers evaluation, explanation and treatment of a wide range of both common and uncommon circulatory diseases including varicose veins, leg swelling (lymphoedema), leg cramps (claudication), stroke symptoms (carotid/vertebral/aortic arch diseases), abdominal pains (aortic aneurysms).
During free time, Dr. Roberts enjoys reading, hiking, running, swimming and cooking Indian cuisine with his wife. Dr. Roberts aspires to provide patient care through education and counseling, so that his patients may arrive at an informed decision on Vascular disease treatment options.
Hannah is a nationally board-certified physician assistant and is licensed by the Arizona Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants. Her educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in nutritional science from the University of Arizona and a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona. She completed her clinical rotations in southwest Georgia where she received excellent training in many different areas of medicine. Originally from Phoenix, Hannah is happy to have returned to her home state and become a part of the team at Laser Vascular Center.
In her free time, Hannah enjoys exercising, traveling, listening to live music, and hiking with her dog, Abbie.
